This is the pattern that I used to create the outfit. I was given alot of fabric many years ago. My biggest bulk of fabric happened to be about 9 yards and was the pattern I was looking for. The pattern calls for more fabric than I have so I didn't put the pockets and pocket lining into the design. The corset was made out of the same bunch of fabric that was given to us. The lace ate the sleeves and neck was also free. My mother had gotten a bunch of lace from an auction many years ago. The buttons.....also free from what we have collected over the years. The only items bought for this outfit were the pattern, a zipper and boning for the corset. The pattern was on sale this weekend for $.99. The boning was also on sale and I used a coupon on the zipper. Total cost = $8.49
The watch is made out of two bracelets, an old watch, and wire. Both bracelets were one I had owned, but never wore. The first bracelet was painted brown to give the look of leather. The second is layered on top to give a vintage look. I wrapped copper-colored wire around the second bracelet to tie into the watch. I wasn't able to get the watch open to change the face of it. I would've loves to have roman numerals instead. Total cost = free
