The umbrellas highlight the legs/frame, making it look like a skeleton. Both have a decorative trim.
These are Victorian dresses. They can range from having a poofy skirt to a slimmer skirt and will always have a tiny waist. Ruffles are common themes, especially in the lower part of the skirt. The necks of the dresses also seem to be decorative. Sleeves appear to be long or elbow length and they will have ruffles at the cuffs.
Examples of steampunk dresses. They are capable of showing more of the arms, legs, and chest. Gathering in the skirt still occurs like it does in Victorian style dresses. The waist is thin and the chest is more accentuated. Leather is added in most cases. Colors tend to be dark, but not all the time.
Watches and bracelets have an obvious round face with intricate detail around it. cords, gears, and springs are visible.
Steampunk veils are usually attached to a hat and include decorations such as gears, feathers, or pins.
Steampunk canes have two functions. These examples have added technology, a gun, and a telescope into their design.
